About Me
My name is Deonna Baney and I a wife and mother before anything else! I have two wonderful little girls, that are currently 4 and 9! They are my inspiration behind my funny little stories!
I moved to Arkansas in 2011 when I was in the Army Reserves and served active duty for the Wounded Warrior Project before meeting my now husband and deciding to stay after my orders were up. I served my country for 8 years, but it was time to have a family and do something different.
I decided to go to nursing school after getting out of the Army in 2015. It was the best and most rewarding career choice that I ever had. I have been an Oncology Registered Nurse for the past 7 years and last year, I decided to do more while I was working on my Masters for my Family Nurse Practitioner and become a children’s book author.
I have published one book and have another coming out soon for my first series, but i decided recently that I want to start writing in different genres as well and for all age groups.
I am a believer in doing the most that you can in your life and being kind to others!
